Friends helping friends - that’s what a community is. The spirit of generosity is alive and well here in the San Diego Chapter, and we want to keep that spirit going! So, we have made a few changes to make it easier to give. Here’s what you need to know.

We are folding our Chapter Friends local membership option into a larger system that includes several giving levels. Chapter Friends receive our newsletter and admission to all local events, but no national affiliation. If you are a Chapter Friend, your annual donation will roll over at the beginning of our fiscal year, July 1st. 

Others who wish to give above their membership dues are welcome to donate anytime. You can send a check to our treasurer, Ronél Wishnuff (641 Paseo Rio, Vista, CA 92081) or donate via our website by credit card, PayPal or Zelle. Please contact our treasurer (rwishnuff@yahoo.com) for assistance. Donations directly from your IRA are also welcome.

We now have four categories for giving:

Chapter Friend                  $25-49

Chapter Booster               $50-99

Chapter Patron                 $100-499

Chapter Angel                   $500 and above

You may designate where your donation goes:

a.     Scholarship-to pay for student study grants

b.     Endowment-to ensure the long-term financial health of our chapter

c.     General Fund-to assist in year-to-year operating/program expenses

The San Diego Chapter of the American Guild of Organists was founded in 1920 as an educational non-profit 501(C)3 whose mission is to provide learning opportunities to those interested in learning more about the organ. We offer workshops, concerts, and study grants for private instruction. Thank you for donating to our chapter. Every contribution makes a difference in our ability to carry out our mission, and it is tax-deductible!
