AGOSD presents: The Accidental Pastor

Optional: no-host happy hour to follow at “Café Athena” in Pacific Beach. 

Event Description: Caring for people is never in the church musician’s job description, but for sustained success in any church, it is important to develop an approach that embodies a pastoral heart that is centered on communicating empathy, concern, and compassion, along with assembling a referral network to provide longer-term assistance when needed. A panel of four San Diego health specialists will discuss the basics of their field that will help you become more confident in your ability to help those around you. Dr. Christopher Cook will facilitate the discussion.
