All Saints Lutheran Church of San Diego
6355 Radcliffe Drive
San Diego, CA 92122

All Saints is a community of faith centered on word and sacrament worship. Across the seasons of the Church Year, we sing the three settings of the Holy Communion liturgy in the Lutheran Book of Worship on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am and on the major festival days. Our Wednesday evening service has been suspended since the pandemic closure but it might return in the future.

We are seeking an organist who will creatively support congregational singing of hymnody, psalmody, and liturgical canticle, as well as provide preludes, postludes, and other voluntary music. There is now no choir, but some ad hoc ensembles of singers may offer anthems from time to time, which require accompaniment on organ or piano.

The instrument is a hybrid: our original Wicks pipe organ augmented by a Johannus Ecclesia digital organ, three manuals. The pastor selects the hymnody and liturgical variata by season or by month, but would welcome the collaboration of a musician with background in Lutheran theology and liturgical practices.

The position will be available at the end of July, 2022. Please submit your resumé or any questions to the Rev. Dr. Paul Bieber, at, or call 858.453.3595.
